Thursday, March 11 marked one year since Bethesda began its bold response to COVID-19.
As a community, we have continued to demonstrate our resilience, patience, and our courageous compassion for one another. In many ways, we have banded together to ensure those served by Bethesda were protected, safe, and connected throughout the varying phases of precautions and restrictions that the pandemic.

Serving others together in faith, community, and life has always been our focus. Through our early adoption of serial testing, our extensive infection prevention efforts, and our successful vaccination program we have discovered a new form of daily life. A life that embraces the highest quality of care, safety, and life in all we do. Together, we have found creative ways to adjust to a new phase of normal, one that helps us remain connected, while apart.
It is with joy that we were able to welcome in a ray of hope for tomorrow. Recently, CMS released guidance outlining new recommendations on how to safely re-open facilities to visitors while continuing to protect the health of all at Bethesda. Although we must wait for further guidance to be released by the MDH, we are eagerly evaluating how this will positively impact life at Bethesda and for those we serve.
