The Bethesda Foundation is pleased to announce that the $350,000 challenge put forth in February by a group of six anonymous families, to help build the new Town Center and Chapel at Bethesda, has been met! Under the terms of the challenge, the Bethesda Foundation was required to match $350,000 with new gifts and pledges by June 30, 2018, in order to receive the full grant benefit.
This generous challenge grant contributed a combined $700,000 to the “Investing in a Healthy Future” capital campaign and truly depicts our community’s commitment to enhancing aging services in the Kandiyohi area. This grant celebrates the overall completion of the $3 Million goal and directly benefits the construction of the new town center and chapel spaces on the Bethesda Willmar campus. Phase II of the renovation project will begin in July 2018 and anchor Bethesda’s social ministry within the community with construction of a new chapel space.
“The Bethesda Foundation is blessed to have a community who believes in our mission and supports it in so many ways.” said Stefanie Ryan, Development Director of the Bethesda Foundation. “This is the largest capital campaign ever undertaken in the history of the Bethesda Foundation, and we are filled with gratitude for our generous donors who have brought it to goal.”
“This project is going to enrich the lives of seniors in the Kandiyohi County area.” shared Michelle Haefner, Bethesda President/CEO. “It will allow us to do more than we ever dreamed possible, and it’s become a reality because of the tremendous leadership of our campaign cabinet and support of our donors.”
The Bethesda Foundation would like to recognize everyone who has contributed to the capital campaign that will ensure the success of the Town Center and Chapel project. Thank you for improving the lives of the seniors in our communities.
