Bethesda Intends to Develop New Campus in New London, Minnesota
(Willmar, MN) The Bethesda Board of Directors proudly announce plans to develop a new senior living project in New London, Minnesota.
Preliminary development designs include 72 private senior apartments, including independent and assisted living, advanced care assisted living and memory care assisted living.
Emerging site designs feature a continuation of the vibrant energy of Bethesda’s Willmar campus and include a town center: featuring a chapel area, open community areas, dining spaces, recreational opportunities, spa, and the addition of a new satellite Club Bethesda wellness center.
“It has been a remarkable time in the history of Bethesda. We have experienced tremendous growth and development within our skilled nursing facility over the past 5 years and we are now eager to continue our attentions on expanding other areas of Bethesda’s mission that will enable us to serve the growing need for senior living options in West Central Minnesota,” said Michelle Haefner, president and CEO for Bethesda.
An “aging as desired” housing model is planned to uniquely empower residents to embrace their personal lifestyle choices while providing access to tailored health related services within the campus continuum that strives to keep residents within their local communities and couples living together longer.
Construction is anticipated to begin summer of 2019 with a grand opening expected in the summer of 2020.
