Spurred by changes in the senior housing and health care environments, the Board of Directors and staff of Bethesda began a strategic planning process to develop a financially sound and detailed plan in keeping with our strong tradition of caring and innovation.
Phase I of the planning process was completed in the Fall of 2016 and united the Bethesda organization onto one campus through completion of the new Bethesda Grand and Bethesda Club Suites Buildings. We are blessed and grateful to have has a successful move of our residents and team from Heritage Center to the new campus.
As Alexander Grahm Bell said, “When one door closes, another door opens.” As we close the door on Phase I of the strategic planning process, we are excited for the next door to open. Beginning this fall, renovations for Phase II will commence in the heart of the Bethesda campus.
Bethesda is excited to provide our senior community more destinations to enjoy in the new Town Center! These spaces will enrich the lives of our seniors by providing accessible places to go, things to do and people to see. The Town Center vision includes a chapel, café, bistro station, welcome center, walking path, gift shop, children’s play area, salon, a gathering/enrichment center, private dining spaces and more.
Our capital campaign – Investing in a Healthy Future – has a goal of securing $3 million dollars in philanthropic support for construction of the Town Center and Chapel.
Investing in a Healthy Future will ensure the quality and course of senior care for generations to come. A substantial financial investment in facilities, technology, programs and people is required if we are to transform our community’s health care future. Your participation will mean a better community in which to live and an enhanced quality of life for your loved ones.
Today, we ask you to consider a financial contribution to make this vision a reality for the residents, tenants, clients and community members cared for at Bethesda. Please grant the opportunity for these spaces to be built; where the seniors who call Bethesda home will continue doing the things they enjoy with the people they love. Click here to donate now!
We cordially invite you to join us.
